When starting a business, most people understand the old saying, “you can’t be all things to all people.” This same principle applies to business in the virtual world - focus and do something well.
After reading a few rants written by some close friends of mine (who are also web designers), I realized that the issues I have been bumping into were not isolated, but rather a viral-pandemic.
There has recently been a trend in developing web sites that are robust, all encompassing and down-right life-draining. From the plethora of online directories, rating web-sites and social-networks - it seems that everyone who has heard the term viral is trying to get a piece of the social-network pie.
